The major objectives of college library are to support the teaching programme of the college and to provide reading material for independent study and research. The Library is equipped with core subject books related to Commerce and Science. Also, the collection includes books for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, KCET, CA, CLAT, NDA and language learning. It is also subscribed to e-resources and daily newspapers.
The college has established the ICT based teaching-learning system in all the classrooms and faculty members are trained for effective use of technology for better teaching and productive learning outcome.
Our College Auditorium stands as a cornerstone for academic and cultural activities, offering a perfect space for a wide range of events, from guest lectures and seminars to theatrical performances and concerts. With a focus on innovation and accessibility, the auditorium has been designed to cater to the diverse needs of students, faculty, and the wider community.
The Chemistry Lab at our college is well-equipped and designed to serve as an essential part of the curriculum; bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The lab is stocked with various instruments, glassware, chemicals, and safety equipment to support experiments across different branches of chemistry, such as inorganic, organic, physical, and analytical chemistry.
The Physics Lab is an integral part of the science curriculum. It comprises of instruments like oscilloscopes, spectrometers, voltmeters, ammeters, and other essential devices to provide students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge. The lab is designed to accommodate a wide range of experiments, from mechanics to electromagnetism, optics, thermodynamics, and modern physics.
Biology lab is a dynamic learning environment where students engage in hands-on experiments, fostering a deeper understanding of biological concepts. The lab is designed to cater to the academic needs of students, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios with biological specimens including plants, animals, and microorganisms and so on.
The Computer Science Lab serves as a vital space for students to enhance their practical knowledge and skills in the field of computer science. It is equipped with 47 computers with modern hardware and software tools to facilitate learning and experimentation in various areas of computer science, such as programming, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Our college playground features a range of facilities catering to various sports like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and athletics. The football field and cricket pitch are regularly used for inter-college tournaments, while the basketball and volleyball courts provide an opportunity for students to participate in friendly matches and practices.
The lift facility has been installed to ensure that all students, faculty, and staff members can access various floors of the college building with ease and convenience. The lift is designed to provide smooth and quick transportation, particularly for those with mobility challenges, such as individuals with disabilities or those carrying heavy items.
ICICI Bank has set up a convenient facility on our college campus to cater to the banking needs of the college community. This facility is designed to provide easy access to a wide range of banking services within close proximity to the campus.
Our college provides separate hostel and residential accommodations for boys and girls, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all students. The boys’ and girls’ hostels are equipped with modern amenities, including well-furnished rooms, recreational areas, and common spaces.
Each hostel has dedicated staff to oversee daily operations, ensure cleanliness, and maintain discipline. The hostels also have security measures in place, including 24/7 surveillance and a strict check-in/check-out policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. Students have essential services like laundry, canteen, internet, and round-the-clock security.
Transportation service is available from Thimmegoudana Doddi to key locations such as Ramanagar, Channapattana, Kanakapura, and Bangalore South, specifically for the students and staff members to ensure reliable transport options for easy commuting to and from these areas.
‘BVV CAFÉ’ serves a variety of snacks, beverages, and light meals, making it a favourite hangout place between classes. The ambiance is friendly, with comfortable seating arrangements that encourage students to take a break and unwind.
The parking facility on our campus is designed to provide convenient and safe parking for students, faculty, and staff. There are designated parking zones for cars, bikes, and bicycles, ensuring that each vehicle type has a designated area. The campus offers both open and covered parking spaces, with sufficient capacity to accommodate the daily influx of vehicles.
