Sri H.N. Ananthkumar Pre-University College, under the patronage of Basaveshwara Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha (B.V.S. Sangha) Bagalkote, dedicated to providing quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment for rural students. Situated in Bidadi, Ramanagara District, the college aims to empower rural students from diverse backgrounds with the knowledge, skills and values necessary for personal and professional success.
Sri H.N. Ananthkumar Pre-University College offers PU education in science, commerce and arts streams. Along with PU courses, coaching for NEET, JEE, KCET, CA, CLAT, NDA and other exams offered. The far-sighted and progressive thoughts of His Holiness Shri Gurubasava Mahaswamiji, Bilur, Bagalkot, led to the genesis of Basaveshwara Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha (B.V.V. Sangha) on 18th October, 1906. Started with a humble goal of a Sanskrit Pathashala to impart ‘Sanskara’ to the younger generation through ‘value-based’ education. The activities of the Sangha have grown manifold since its inception. Today, 170 institutions spread over different parts of Karnataka (Bagalkot, Bengaluru) and Maharashtra (Pune). Though the journey began with a Sanskrit Pathashala, presently, Sangha has been providing education at different levels-primary education, high-school, pre-university, degree, post-graduation, technical education, engineering, medical, para-medical and Human Resource Development.
The Sangha has been serving the poor, the under privileged and economically needy people of the society for more than a century upholding social, human and ethical values with emphasis on “Work is Worship” – the philosophy of Lord Basaveshwara. The journey and the success of the Sangha is a testimony for its stupendous contribution in the field of education.
